Tips

You can leave a tip at ko-fi.com/tarbetdesign. Ko-fi handles payment and collects whatever information Ko-fi requires under their own privacy policy. Tipping is optional. Nothing here depends on it.

AI disclosure

The interpretation voice is a character called Eyeball, generated by Anthropic's Claude. Eyeball is a critical-thinking companion, not a citation machine. Specific claims — dates, names, numbers — should be checked against primary sources before citation. The Sources & Methods panel on every response names the scholars and institutions that shaped the dossier. Spotted a factual error? Email al@tarbet.design. Corrections are logged in the changelog below.

Content range

The tool covers historical violence including mythological sexual violence, colonial-era extraction histories, religious imagery, and themes of death. Interpretations are treated seriously, not sensationalized. Sensitive material is named directly rather than euphemized. The age gate asks you to confirm you are 13 or older before continuing.

Your rights

Under Oregon's OCPA, California's CCPA/CPRA, and Europe's GDPR, you have rights to access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of sale. Tarbet Design retains nothing about you after the request returns. Anthropic and Netlify retain per their own terms (linked above). For questions about any of the three, email al@tarbet.design.

Minors

The age gate asks you to confirm you are 13 or older. Your acknowledgment is remembered for the current browser session only. This is a cultural tool, not a children's product. Tarbet Design does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Security and abuse

Patron photographs are pre-screened by an automated safety check before the main model sees them. The check is automated and sometimes wrong — if a legitimate upload gets refused, email al@tarbet.design. A per-IP rate limit caps usage at 120 requests per hour. A monthly spending cap on the Anthropic API bounds financial exposure. A canary tripwire alerts Al if something attempts to extract the system prompt.

Breach notification

In the event of a breach at Anthropic, Netlify, or Tarbet Design that affects Pocket Curiosity request data, a notice will be posted on tarbet.design within 72 hours of discovery.

Accessibility

Tarbet Design targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Known limitations: some dynamic response content may not announce optimally on older screen readers; non-Latin scripts within responses may render unpredictably on some assistive technology. If you hit a barrier, email al@tarbet.design with the page and the problem. Response within five business days.
